Basement Waterproofing
Where the walls of a structure are below ground they are subject to lateral damp penetration by either capillary action or hydrostatic pressure. The installation of a cavity drainage waterproofing system is recognised as the most effective solution to this problem.
These systems incorporate extruded membranes which create an air gap to allow moisture to move freely behind preventing a build-up of pressure and eliminating weak-spots. Any free water is diverted into perimeter channels and removed by either natural drainage or pump.
This technique can transform cellars, vaults, etc into habitable accomodation adding considerable value to both domestic and comme
rcial properties.
