Condensation Treatment

Condensation is largely a consequence of improved standards of insulation and draught-proofing. Lack of adequate ventilation allied to modern occupancy lifestyles can result in a build-up of excessive moisture.

This leads to condensation forming on cold surfaces, particularly areas with little air circulation and can cause peeling decorations, unsightly mould growth and unhealthy living conditions. Various general measures can be adopted to help alleviate the problem including reducing

sources of excess moisture, improving ventilation and maintaining heating levels.

In extreme circumstances, or where problems persist, mechanical condensation control systems can be installed.
